Antique elevator, charming architectural features, excellent foyer
Not having a noticeable entry is a bit odd!!! The rates are frustratingly high for low season visitors!!! The thin walls could be a nightmare for light sleepers!!!

i was hoping for an upgrade, but got stuck in a cramped room with thin walls—you can practically hear the neighbors breathe. not to mention the unnecessary noise from the corridor! a bit of complimentary chocolate Woudl ve been nice. i almost thought about giving it a good review, but just couldn’t, just couldn’t.

The room had ample afternoon sunshine, creating a cute atmosphere. Antique elevator and architectural fixtures offered a charming glimpse into the building’s history.
Thin walls meant the noise from adjacent rooms could be bothersome, particularly in the morning with conversations echoing by the reception area. Though not a major issue, it detracted slightly from the overall comfort level during my stay.

The double room at Hostal Santillan was cozy and comfortable. Loved the historical charm with the stunning staircase and antique elevator. Enjoyed the sunlight pouring in throughout the day. The strong Wi-Fi signal made it easy to connect. However, the room felt a bit humid and sometimes a tad cold. I could hear some noise from the adjacent room, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The friendly and helpful staff made a positive impression, and the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the metro and main attractions. The only downside was the lifts. they weren’t the best since the reception is on the 8th floor. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor issues.

Both lovable and frustrating
An excellent spot, just minutes from the metro, with clean rooms and friendly staff who went the extra mile, even offering to store luggage before check-in! !
The antique elevators can be a hassle since the reception is located on the 8th floor, and the walls feel a bit thin at times, potentially disrupting your peace.

Couple's Cozy Escape
The room was small but perfectly set up for a cozy stay. Loved that it had a small desk where I could plan my next steps for the day while enjoying the afternoon sun streaming in.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still worth the experience for the convenience and charm.
